Recently, I have been thinking a lot about what inspires me and have realized that my home city and state play a lot into everything that I do and love! In order to share that with you all, I’ve teamed up with Old Navy and People.com's #50styles50states campaign to represent Montana!

I have lived in Montana my entire life and I wouldn’t have it any other way. Everywhere you look there is something to explore and be inspired by. From wide open fields with horses to the trendy city of Missoula where I grew up, the diversity and versatility of Montana never ceases to amaze me.

Missoula feels very much like a hometown but with a trendy flare and there is always something new to experience. The people of Missoula have a great sense of community, appreciation for music and art, and on old soul kind of vibe which is reflected in our style. Downtown weekend farmers markets, First Friday art showcases, jazz music performances and a walk through the city and bridge lights are just a few things that have inspired and shaped my personal style in this city.

The artsy and classy aesthetic of downtown Missoula inspired me to create this day to night look. With the comfort of the grey-wash jeans and the classic lines of the v-neck tank I am able to explore the city in style and comfort. Layering necklaces is my new favorite style trick as it adds a bit of edge and interest to any outfit, and a simple cross body bag helps me keep organized while still looking cool!
